Barbara enjoys all aspects of the theater, both on stage and behind the scenes. Recently, she has appeared in the Playreaders productions of Lunenberg and Angel Street. At the San Miguel Playhouse, she has worked on more than a dozen productions as Stage Manager or Property Master. She enjoys the creative process of designing and making props for the Playhouse, and for the Siempre Swing big band. Her real theatrical love is improv, especially getting to “make things up” with her fellow improvisers. Barbara is a founding member of The Improv People.

Since moving to San Miguel, Chris has found that he loves anything to do with theater — as long as it doesn’t involve memorizing a script. As such, he has enjoyed writing several plays with San Miguel Playwrights, making things up on the fly with The Improv People, and acting script-in-hand on several local stages (and one bar).
